Project Manager for Retail Construction
Do you want to lead the construction of stores for our clients in the German market?
Do you have experience in construction project management and a desire to work with some of the strongest brands in retail? Then you might be the person we’re looking for.
About Us
We are a growing company specializing in building and fitting out retail stores for both national and international clients. We take responsibility for the entire process – from concept and planning to handover. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality work, maintaining close client dialogue, and always meeting deadlines.
Your Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the entire construction process of your projects – from planning, budgeting, and coordination to handover and follow-up. Your main focus will be on the German market, so strong German language skills are expected.
You will collaborate with clients, contractors, authorities, and internal teams. Therefore, it’s important that you can act as a link between many stakeholders, build strong relationships, and communicate effectively across international organizations.
Your main tasks will include:
- Project management: Preparing quotations and timelines, handling contract negotiations, and successfully driving your projects from start to finish
- Project coordination: Ensuring smooth workflows and that all work meets agreed standards
- Coordinating construction and retail fittings with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Quality assurance and follow-up
- Budget responsibility and reporting
- Building connections across Germany and developing a strong network of contractors and suppliers
We imagine you:
- Have experience with project management in the construction industry – preferably with retail concepts or commercial construction. Alternatively, you may have a background in a skilled trade
- Are structured, responsible, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Are a strong communicator and used to working with deadlines
- Have a driver’s license and enjoy a self-directed workday, spending 3–4 days a week in Germany and 1–2 days at our headquarters in Esbjerg
We offer:
- An independent role in a dynamic company with a short path from idea to action
- Exciting projects and the opportunity to shape your own tasks
- An informal and collaborative culture
- A company car or mileage reimbursement if using your own vehicle
- Salary based on qualifications, pension scheme, and health insurance
